Impact Test (15j)

Impact Test (15j)

Item Code: RS 031

Charpy impact test is one of the standard methods of determining the fracture energy of metals. If the time of load exertion is more than three times as much as the natural frequency of the part, that load is called static, and if it is less than half of the natural frequency, it is called impact load. The purpose of impact experiment is determining the energy required to break . This machine consists of a scaled pendulum which hits the specimen while moving. The pendulum height difference is the energy absorbed by the specimen, which is usually defined as energy per unit surface.
