Vapor Pressure of Water Marcet Boiler

Vapor Pressure of Water Marcet Boiler

Item Code: RT 049

If energy is added to water, molecule activities will increase and some of the molecules will escape from the surface of the liquid. This process will continue until a state of equilibrium is reached. This state depends on the pressure of the pure material adjacent to water; the less the pressure is, the more easily the molecules leave the liquid surface, needing less energy to come to balance. This unit is consisted of a constant-volume container which is filled with water. The container is then heated so that the constant-volume phase change from water to steam is achieved. During this process, water and steam phases will be continuously adjacent. By using installed measurement instru-ments, pressure and temprature can be measured at any moment.
