Bomb Calorimeter for Testing Calorific Value of Fuels
Item Code: RT 052
The thermal value of a fuel is one of the most important parameters of fuels. For measuring heat flow in processes that are run in water, a calorimeter can be used. If the reaction is exothermic, it causes the water to become warm and increases its temperature. In contrast, endothermic reactions decrease water temperature. The sum of calories released in a reaction is equal to the multiplication of temperature increase by the total capacity of calorimeter and its contents. This device is used for investigating and studying the behavior of calorimeter bomb and measuring heat value of fuels.
