Calibration of Pressure Gauges

The pressure applied to a fluid at one point is equal to the ratio of the force applied to the surface of the fluid cross section at that point. On the other hand, Pascal's law states that the pressure applied to a fluid in a confined container is the same everywhere in the chamber and in all directions. Therefore, the fluid pressure can be measured by connecting the fluid chamber to a pressure gauge. This pressure is the same in different places according to Pascal's law.
