When an object floats in an infinity ambient environment if its temperature is different with the ambient, it starts receiving or transferring energy until it has the same temperature as the ambient. During this process the heat amount which is transferred before it becomes stable and isothermal is called “Transient Heat Transfer”. This type of heat transfer is mostly done by convection, but when the ambient is not infinity and contains a heat source it combines with radiation. It is difficult to separate each form of heat transfer, but in this unit by adding an infinity cold water tank, the heat transfer can be easily obtained.
