Internal balances are tools for measuring the forces and torques applied to the model installed in the wind tunnel. This balance is directrly attached to the model. At various points, the strain gauges are mounted for measuring applied forces. Static balances are used to measure static forces. This balance consists of 3 components including drag ,lift forces and pitching moment.
