DC Electrical Machine
Item Code: RG 266
Stators in DC electro motors are supplied from a external power supply which results in a current in the stator that produces a uniform electromagnetic field under the poles. The armature on the other hand is also supplied by an external power supply or the stator itself. This produces an electromagnetic field too. The interaction between the stator and armature fields creates a rotation which can then be converted to mechanical power.
