The Aerobic digester is a device for simulation of activated sludge process which is widely used in water treatment plants. The process is involved with using aerobic micro organisms for degradation of water impurities in presence of air. Aeration is achieved via a air compressor and adjustable air rotamter. Utilizing a heater, the effect of temperature on the process can also be observed. A stirrer mechanism is also employed for better mixing. The degradation process can be observed through the transparent plexi glass reactor.
